Mercury in Gemini
Mercury moved into Gemini on April 29, 2022.
If you're a Gemini, you may have felt a little more...chatty lately. That's because Mercury, the planet of communication, just entered Gemini. Mercury is the messenger of the gods, and its journey around the sun takes just 88 days, making it the swiftest planet in our solar system. It's also the smallest planet in our solar system, yet it's the second hottest planet and one of the coldest. So yeah, it's kind of weird!
Mercury translates to "data in and data out", so during this time, we're all going to be mentally engaged and alive. Mercury's element (air) also rules communication and information, which means this transit can bring about changes related to your personal relationships as well as your professional ones. You might feel more talkative than normal or even have a few things you need to get off your chest—whether that's with a romantic partner or a colleague at work! It's also possible that this transit could open up an opportunity for networking if there are any upcoming events where you could meet new people who share similar interests as yourself. This is your time to shine, so get curious. Seek new ideas. Have an open mind and free yourself of judgement. Don't be afraid to speak your mind or ask questions! You probably won't be surprised to hear that people will enjoy talking with you during this time.
Gemini is an air sign that values intelligence, mental agility, and communication. This transit helps us feel curious, engaged, and interested in new ideas and experiences. People might even think you're smarter than usual (we know you are—don't worry!). So go ahead and enjoy yourself: talk about things that interest you and seek out conversations with people who are into what you're into. Don't underestimate your ability to accomplish big things, even if you're a little person who feels like a big person trapped inside a little person's body.
You can do anything.
(just remember mercury goes retrograde May 10)
